When you purchase or lease a pre-owned electric vehicle (EV), you may be eligible for up to $4,000 in rebates.
How It Works
SDG&E customers can receive up to a $4,000 rebate when purchasing or leasing an eligible pre-owned Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) or Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV). See eligible vehicle list here.
Rebate Options
The SDG&E Pre-Owned EV Rebate Program offers one of two options, based on your household level of income, when you purchase or lease an eligible pre-owned electric vehicle.
Standard Option: $1,000
Eligible applicants may receive $1,000 for the purchase or lease of a pre-owned BEV or PHEV.
Rebate Plus Option: $4,000
Income-qualified applicants may instead receive $4,000 based on their household level of income for the purchase or lease of a pre-owned EV.
